Hi, I’m Vivek Awasthi, Founder of FinTaxPro.

My Educational background

I am a B.Com Graduate & CA dropout

My Chartered Accountancy Journey

I pause my CA journey in 2017 after completing CA articalship and giving few failed CA final attempts. Well, those were some failures which indeed help me to introspect and look around things in a different perspective. After 3 consecutive attempts I decided to share what I know instead of giving next exam. People may call me a CA dropout, but I have never considered myself one dropout, I still proudly call myself a CA Final Student and an active learner

I dedicated around five to six important years of my life to the Chartered Accountancy course, Although I did not earn the final CA qualification, the journey gave me something that has shaped almost every aspect of my professional life.
CA taught me how to read law, interpret provisions, understand the interlinking of different laws, approach problems logically, work under pressure, and handle things professionally.

More importantly, it taught me discipline, hard work, patience, and how to approach things in a structured and systematic manner.

I still remember my GMCS training. At a time when very few students in my batch would attend sessions in complete professional attire, I used to wear a blazer and tie.

It might sound like a very small thing, but I had taken one lesson seriously:

Before becoming a professional, you need to start thinking, behaving, and presenting yourself like one.

That mindset stayed with me.
Even today, whether I am handling professional assignments, studying a new provision, creating content, or designing a course, I prefer things to be planned, organised, structured, and systematic.

You can see the same approach in my courses as well. I try to take complex subjects and arrange them step-by-step so that learners understand not only what the law says, but how it actually works in practice.

I am not a Chartered Accountant, and I never present myself as one. But I can proudly say that Chartered Accountancy has been the backbone of my professional journey.

I may not have received the degree at the end of that journey, but the knowledge, discipline, professionalism, and mindset it gave me continue to help me every single day.

The Idea of FinTaxPro & Journey

After 3 consecutive failures in CA Final, I introspect and decide I would share what I learned from this esteemed course and that’s how the idea of FinTaxPro arises to share my knowledge in simple language with practical touch. What I do in FinTaxPro?

• Handling tax practice, mainly appeals, litigation, refund and related technical aspects
• Content creation which includes content for YouTube, Instagram and most importantly content for courses.

 

My Mission — Simplifying Taxation & Making India Tax Literate

Everything I do — professional practice, teaching, courses, and content creation — ultimately connects to one larger mission:

Simplifying Taxation & Making India Tax Literate.

Taxation affects almost everyone, but for many people it still feels unnecessarily complicated.

My goal through FinTaxPro is to bridge that gap.

I want to make taxation easier to understand, learn, and practically implement, especially for professionals and students who are building their careers in Taxation, Accounting, and Finance.

I believe knowledge becomes truly valuable when it can be understood and applied.

That is why my journey continues to revolve around three simple things:

Keep Learning.
Keep Simplifying.
Keep Sharing.

Because I still consider myself a student — and I believe the day we stop learning is the day we stop growing.
